Ceramic Owl Sculpture Designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy c. 1960s

A striking ceramic owl vase attributed to Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy, circa 1960s. Finished in a bold sunshine yellow glaze with dark green wings and stylized incised details at the base, this sculptural piece balances playfulness with strong mid-century form. The glaze shows beautiful natural craquelure throughout — a signature of age and authenticity.

Marked by hand on the interior base, this owl is believed to be part of a limited production series, and is a rare example outside the well-known Rimini Blu line. The form and palette make it a standout addition to any collection of Italian ceramics or MCM décor.
