Designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, this substantial Italian ceramic cigar ashtray dates to the 1960s. The broad circular form is centered by a deeply incised radial sunburst beneath a vivid blue crystalline glaze. The interior has a coarse glass-like crystalline texture around the perimeter, with a finer crackled surface toward the centre.
Measures approximately 9½ inches in diameter × 2¼ inches high. Stamped ITALY and numbered 825 on the base. Excellent vintage condition, with visible variation in the glaze surface.
