A porcelain catch-all by Rosenthal Studio-Linie, produced in Germany in the late 1960s to early 1970s—a period known for clean, modern forms and a more architectural approach to everyday objects. While it could be used as an ashtray, it reads more as design than utility.

The piece reflects the quieter, anonymous Studio-Linie design approach of the period, often associated with designers such as Hans Theo Baumann. Marked on the base Rosenthal / studio-linie / GERMANY. Measures 5 3/8″ wide and 1 3/4″ high. Excellent condition.
