A striking ceramic owl designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy, c. 1960s. Finished in vivid yellow glaze with dark green wings and stylized impressed decoration, the approximately 10-inch form is characteristic of Londi’s whimsical animal designs for Bitossi.

Hand-numbered “61/16 Italy” on the interior base. The glaze shows natural age-related craquelure throughout.
