A set of four William Ridgway & Co. earthenware dessert dishes in the Flosculous pattern, Staffordshire, England, c. 1840. Printed in green on a pale blue ground, the pattern combines dense floral sprays with a central Rococo-style scroll motif and moulded scalloped borders. The set comprises two approximately 9-inch plates and two handled dishes measuring approximately 10 inches across.
All four pieces bear the printed W R & Co. / Flosculous mark. Light age-related crazing is present, with no chips or cracks.
